We wanted to take a moment to let you know that Gemcorp is open and operating every weekday for your jewelry appraisal and consultation needs; undeniably at a different level than before this pandemic. Client appointments are being spaced out a little longer, allowing us time to clean and disinfect those areas of the office that were used. As much as we’d like to shake your hand, we won’t be doing that for the foreseeable future. In short, doing our best to adhere to or exceed the virus safety protocols that are in alignment with the CDC and the State, adjusting as those directives may change.
As many of you know, we provide jewelry consulting services for many auction galleries and immediate buyers of diamonds, jewelry, gold etc. Nearly all of them are up and running again, with a few exceptions. In addition to their on-line advertising being restarted, those galleries and buyers have encouraged us to solicit our client base for items they wish to sell. We are providing the grading and obtaining an immediate offer at no cost to our clients. (We are paid by the buyer). When you call to make an appointment, just let us know what you have and we’ll direct you to the buyer most likely to give you the highest offer. In most cases, we still have to see the item to get you that offer.
